Ladies and Gentlemen, I went to AF7 concert last night and I just have to say something. So help me God!

I sat about 30 meters away from the main stage. Saw a lot of familiar faces. Updated my FaceBook status to this: "Saniboey is...at AF7 concert! Ha ha." And got 4 comments from friends about it. Yes, I was there at Bukit Jalil. Watched AF7 concert and this is my review.

Sebenarnya aku tak sure nak start menulis tentang apa mengenai konsert AF7 yang aku tonton live malam tadi sebab frankly banyak sangat benda yang aku lihat di depan mata aku all this ambience in a concert hall is very important because it generates your mood to watch it. Oleh itu, its best kalau aku menulis review ini dalam tiga bahagian.

Bahagian pertama ialah tentang kebolehan peserta-pesertanya, bahagian kedua ialah tentang produksinya manakala bahagian ketiga ialah konklusi atau resolusi aku sendiri. Well, I think that would be the best way to write.

Aku dah tak ada gambar nak letak kat sini, so aku pinjam aje gambar ni dari Ajami. Jangan marah ye.

BAHAGIAN PERTAMA (I shall write about each performance)

1. Lagu: Terharu
Penyanyi: Yazid & Yazer
Asal: Jamal Abdillah & Mawi

This couple did a Michael Jackson's Beat It performance sikit dalam lagu ini. Whey the hell they did that kind of choreograph pun aku tak tahu. They ran around the stage like two crazy men and they danced like idiots. Semua itu aku boleh maafkan sebenarnya kalau kombinasi suara mereka bagus tetapi berdasarkan daripada pendengaran aku (pengkritik ada pakai headphone - so pendengaran mereka pasti lebih jelas) kombinasi suara mereka macam gampang. Every time Yazer sings, suara Yazid ni tenggelam habis and bila suara Yazid pulak kedengaran, aku rasa suara Yazer pulak lebih baik. I don't know why were they singing that song because they sucked at it. Maybe, if they ran around the fucking stage lesser, they could concentrate more on giving the dynamics of their vocals. Aku tahu lah lagu ini fast, tapi tak semestinya korang berlari macam badut kena cili di private area lah! And again, the "Beat It" choreograph? WTF?

2. Lagu: Aku Dan Dirimu
Penyanyi: Aril & Marsha
Asal: Ari Lasso & Bunga Citra Lestari

Aku tahu sangat lagu ini sebab itu hari baru buat penjurian Anugerah Industri Muzik 2009 (AIM) dan lagu ini memang nyata ada potensi untuk menang. Marsha memang nampak cunn sangat (hahah...ini personal) dan gabungan vokal diorang ni bagi aku is plain okay. Kalau nak kata duet diorang ni meninggalkan kesan kat aku, tak sangat lah sebab they didn't create any magic with the song. They sang, they left and I couldn't remember what Aril looked like. So, that's that. A strong duet will leave you with memories, but this one nope....zilch! I can only remember Marsha's nice black dress.

3. Lagu: Dibius Cinta
Penyanyi: Qhaud & Heliza
Asal: Yusry & Melly Goeslaw

Pelik kenapa the juries, Edrie Hashim dan Adibah Noor picked on Heliza and said that her vokal was sumbang dan itu jadi penyebab kepada kesumbangan vokal Qhaud. The fact is this dude can't fucking sing. He sang terriblely last night. Aku dalam hati fikir how the fuck that this guy boleh masuk AF ni sebab suara dia macam gampang dan cara dia menyanyi macam budak-budak yang nyanyi di pesta orang sakai kat kampung aku (no joke...memang pesta sakai di kampung aku macam tu....ia adalah pesta menuai). But the juries to pick on his duet was unfair. She also came from this prestigious reality show what! This is from me to Qhaud: "Brader, apa kata minggu depan you beg to go home cause you can't fuckin sing man! Kau mintak aje disingkirkan via that diary tu."

4. Lagu: Cinta Yang Sempurna
Penyanyi: Sidi & Zahid
Asal: 6ixth Sense & Noe Letto

This is the boy who got thrown out last nite. Budak Sidi ni macam mat rempit sikit dan dia menari macam papan lapis yang retak. As Adibah said it last night, Zahid did outshined him. I agree totally sebab sebaik sahaja vokal Zahid terbit, aku fikir Sidi is fucked! This Sidi boy just couldn't compete nor compliment dalam duet dia dengan Zahid ini. Maybe they or him should have been given a different song. Masa tengah tunggu result, aku dalam hati fikir memang mat rempit ni akan terkeluar and true enuf, he did. Tak apa lah Sidi, at least kau dapat naik bas yang aku tak pernah naik malam tadi. Cool apa!

5. Lagu: Terlanjur Cinta
Penyanyi: Hafiz & Mila
Asal: Rossa & Pasha Ungu

Kadang-kadang kalau banyak sangat "drama" di pentas, fokus terhadap nyanyian mereka diabaikan sikit dan itulah yang aku rasa. Nevertheless, they sang okay but again, nothing to remember sangatlah. Yang aku fikir, Mila pakai baju yang sama kaler dengan aku aje.

6. Lagu: Jika Kau Tiada
Penyanyi: Akim & Farah
Asal: Erra Fazira & Yusry KRU

Sama nasib dengan Hafiz dan Mila, bagi aku Akim dan Farah tidak meninggalkan sebarang kesan dengan nyanyian mereka. They were not fantastic but then, they were not bad at all. The song gave a good mood to the crowd and they themselves didn't fuck the song.

7. Lagu: Kau Muzik Di Hatiku
Penyanyi: Claudia & Vince
Asal: Jacyln Victor & Vince

This was the best performance last night mainly because Vince had the best vocal in da house! Aku enjoy sangat dengan persembahan diorang ni and Claudia has good vocal capability.

8. Lagu: Kau Mawarku
Penyanyi: Isma & Zul
Asal: Siti Nurhaliza & 2 By 2

Kira kononnnya cutelah sebab Isma ni dikejutkan when her husband (Zul of 2 By 2) was on stage singing Kau Mawarku with her. Orang ramai kalau tak silap aku was led to believe that Isma was going to sing that song with somebody else tetapi Isma tu terkejut sebab laki dia yang naik pentas nyanyi sekali. So, being husband and wife and all, they had the advantage lah on stage untuk peluk-peluklah and be romantic and all and maybe that is the disadvantage or her vocal. Aku fikir, laki bini ni rajin karaoke sama-sama sebab judging by their singing, aku hanya boleh cakap bahawa taraf diorang ialah karaoke aje. Peluklah macam mana romantik pun atas pentas, tapi end of the day, Isma's vocal was horrible!

9. Lagu: Dua Hati Menjadi Satu
Penyanyi: Aishah & Alif Aziz
Asal: Gita Gutawa & Dafi

This is again, just another performance aje yang aku lupa saat diorang ni tinggalkan pentas. Time diorang ni nyanyi, aku tak rasa apa-apa kesan. The song was bad, their vocal was not up to standard and don't let me start with stage presense coz I would just say what stage presence?

KRITIKAN TERHADAP PENGKRITIK

Edrie Hashim: What is the fuss people talking about him? I see him as okay. He says what he thinks but sometimes, perkataan yang dia cari tu susah sangat nak keluar and end up bunyinya macam bodoh sikit. But dude, please lah looose the shades man and ugly attire. You need a wardrobe transformation.

Datuk Khadijah Ibrahim: She is just toooo nice. Safe comments? Mite as well don't comment.

Adibah Noor: She rocks! Her comment was spot on and they way she commented was cool!

KRITIKAN TERHADAP AC MIZAL

Banyak sangat lawak bodohlah! Tapi aku tengok keliling ramai jugak orang gelak. So? Er....nak cakap apa yek? Keep it up?

OVERALL ON THE CONTESTANTS

Frankly, their lucky sebab they are in AF and it could make a difference for them sebab judging by their singing, taraf diorang hanyalah sebagai penyanyi karaoke semuanya sekali. They do not have the persona, they do not have the magic vocals and fuckin X-Factor is so far from them.

What was shown in their performances last night tak ubah macam pertandingan karaoke yang aku tengok di Plaza Summit Ampang beberapa tahun lalu. If they were to shine in the coming week, barangkali tukang-tukang ajar yang handal-handal tu berjaya dalam soal transformasi ini tetapi aku selalu fikir, soal penyanyi hebat dengan vokal hebat, you can't plant that in them, it should be inside their bodies already.

BAHAGIAN KEDUA (Produksi)

Macam aku katakan sebelum ini, bukan mudah untuk buat sesebuah produksi dan memastikannya ia bagus. The production team has to deal with a lot of things, come up with a lots or surprises and that is not easy. That much I know. Bawak anak Claudia ke atas pentas, bawak bantal busuk and teddy bear Aril and to congratulate one of the contestants' father who just got married were all planned and it was planned well. The ingredients of a reality show in AF is very very good. Whether one likes it or not, an avid AF fan would always wait on these kind of surprises and to come up with it every week is not easy.

Namun, aku tak berapa suka dengan sound ketika berada dalam dewan di Bukit Jalil itu sebab aku rasa bunyinya tak cantik.

KONKLUSI

Aku tak mahu tulis panjang-panjang kerana at this point of time, AF7 is relevant to the music industry kerana tanpa program macam AF ni, the music industry will be lonely but kalau peserta-pesertanya yang akan datang masih di tahap peserta-peserta karaoke untuk musim depan, aku tak terkejut kalau ia jadi tidak relevan nanti.

In the end of the day, there is always that X-Factor you wanna see in a singer. It could be their voice macam Vince or Zahid or it could be their pesona macam Mawi tapi apa yang tengok di AF7....tak ada peserta yang ada X-Factor itu.

Namun, apa kata kita semua......
